WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.) will host a bipartisan, bicameral press conference on Thursday, December 4 at 11:30AM ET.  

Senator Welch and Representatives Kevin Kiley (R-CA-03), Sam Liccardo (D-CA-16), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH-02), and colleagues will discuss the urgent need to extend the Affordable Care Act’s premium tax credits, which expire at the end of the month. 

The event will be hosted in the Senate Radio-TV Gallery (S-325). Senator Welch and Representative Kiley will be joined by a bicameral, bipartisan group of lawmakers.  

Senator Welch is a member of the Senate Finance Committee. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006 and served in the House for 16 years before being elected to the Senate in 2022.
