ISLAND POND, VT — U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.) will travel to Essex County next week as part of his ‘Common Grounds’ listening session series.
This event will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM ET at the scenic outdoor pavilion at Lakeside Park: 32 Mill St., Island Pond, VT. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on and join Senator Welch for a discussion about how Washington can work better for the Green Mountain State.
The Senator will host ‘Common Grounds’ listening sessions in every county of Vermont in 2026. So far, Senator Welch has hosted ‘Common Grounds’ events in Bennington, Franklin, Addison, Windsor, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, and Caledonia counties.
